Keyusha |
Keyusha is a 7 month old Siberian Husky bitch, who has been with us for less than a month. Like Grey we rehomed her via the forum www.husky-owners.com. Her previous owners were given her as her original owner kept her chained up in a garden, where she was starved, beaten, and forced to lay in her own faeces. The owners before us tried their best to keep her, but her prey drive ment that their cat was at risk, so they passed her on to us. She is now up to a healthy weight, and suprisingly she is a very sweet and loving young girl, she loves every person and dog she meets! She does have some resource guarding issues which we are working on, and we are making progress every day. She still can't be fed from a bowl, because as a result of being starved she doesnt yet realise that food will be availiable regularly, so eats so quick she makes herself sick. Instead her food is scattered in a seperate room so she can't gulp it as quickly. She will soon start training in harness alongside Kira and Grey, she is a very fast and strong girl, so I am confident she will do well. |
